Roosters go back-to-back
North Ballarat has claimed its second successive premiership, defeating the Bullants at Etihad Stadium.
The Roosters had the ascendency from the start of the game, and an eight goal third quarter looked to have the game won. But the Bullants weren't going to give in, a five goal haul from Cameron Cloke helping the David Teague coached side back into the match in the final term.
But the margin was too great, North Ballarat eventually winning by 23 points as Shannon Watt ended his career on the perfect note.
Orren Stephenson was awarded best on ground honours for a strong performance in the ruck, while North Melbourne's Marcus White was vital in the win with a shutdown performance on Carlton's Chris Yarran.
Corey Jones and Aaron Edwards were prominent up forward for the Roosters with two goals a piece, while Cruize Garlett racked up plenty of the ball through the midfield.
