Less than two weeks remain until the National and Rookie Drafts, and with that comes a series of changes to the playing list.

Since the 2015 campaign ended, nine players have already retired, been traded or delisted.

Jed Anderson is the lone addition to the list arriving from Hawthorn.

Additions: Jed Anderson

Retired: Leigh Adams, Nathan Grima
Traded: Ryan Bastinac (Brisbane), Daniel Currie (Gold Coast)
Delisted: Majak Daw, Scott McMahon, Kieran Harper, Eric Wallace (rookie), Max Warren (rookie)

Robin Nahas drops back to the rookie list after being promoted mid-season, meaning North has six senior spots available.

The Roos hold picks 17, 26, 28, 46 and 67 and 97, but can opt for the minimum 38-player senior list and in-turn, elect for up to six Category A rookies.

Soon, all will be revealed but until then let’s take a look at the make-up of the current list.

The 2015 squad of 46 players combined for 4,268 games, at an average of 92.8 each.

Right now, the list has 37 players with 3,773 games experience and a 101 game average.

The departure of some experienced heads such as McMahon (124 games) and Bastinac (121 games) was countered by the departure of Warren, Wallace, Currie and Daw, who had just 21 matches combined.

Anderson has just ten games to his name, and the arrival of some 18-year-old’s will no doubt tip the ledger again in terms of player averages.

With regards to age, the team’s current average is 25.09 years, compared to 25.30 years at the start of 2015; the departures of Grima (30), Adams (27) and McMahon (29) have made a huge difference.

Another interesting statistic is the amount of players who’ve had experience at other clubs.

In 2010, only Aaron Edwards (West Coast) had played elsewhere. Now, there are seven players; Anderson (Hawthorn), Nick Dal Santo (St Kilda), Shaun Higgins (Bulldogs), Ben Jacobs (Port Adelaide), Joel Tippett (Gold Coast), Jarrad Waite (Carlton) and Nahas (Richmond).
