North Melbourne recruit Aidan Corr is ready to make an impact against Port Adelaide as he prepares to play his first game for the club.
Corr, who arrived at North after 98 games for GWS, believes he’s got what it takes to be a Shinboner.

The key-defender says he can’t wait to show the North faithful what he can do in the blue and white stripes.
“I came here wanting to play and I’ve put the hard yards in … I’m ready to rip in,” Corr told North Media.
“You come into the club with people telling you you’re a Shinboner now, but I don’t think I am until I’ve played.
“All I’ve wanted to do is go out there and play to show the fans and the boys what I can bring.”
Corr’s first task as a Kangaroo will be to help silence Coleman Medal fancy Charlie Dixon, a task he believes he and fellow defenders Ben McKay and Robbie Tarran tare up for.
“'Big Buckets' (Ben McKay) is locked in. He’s super focused and loves a strong role,” he said.
“He’s done quite well on him before and I’ll be there to support him and be vocal when I can.
“I see the game a little bit differently … we all have roles to do and if we stick to that it should go a fair way [to a good result].”
Despite only being 26, Corr is one of the more experienced members of a young list and he is relishing the opportunity to take more leadership responsibility this season.
“Coming from another club I have a lot of different ideas in my head, and I’ve played with a lot of players older than me … I’m really excited to be part of this young group” he said.
“It’s really good that I can come here and just help tweak things a little bit … everyone bounces off of each other and I just want to be able to help where I can.
“There’s a balance there since I’m also here to learn and get better … but the boys have absolutely filled me with confidence.”
