The first two rounds of this season’s VFL competition have been released, with North Melbourne kicking off its campaign against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
The competition has been expanded to 22 teams for 2021, with six clubs from New South Wales and Queensland joining the competition.
Teams will play 16 games across 19 rounds, with each club having three byes, while there is over 80 per cent alignment with the AFL fixture, with all Victorian based VFL/AFL clubs to travel with the AFL side for interstate matches.
After kicking its campaign off against Geelong, North returns to Arden Street for Round 2, as it takes on Frankston.
The match ups for rounds three to 19 have been released, however dates, times and venues will be announced shortly.
Round 1: Sunday, April 18 - 1pm at GMHBA Stadium
Round 2: Saturday, April 24 - 1pm at Arden Street Oval
