The 25-win milestone was recorded in the NAB AFLW competition over the weekend for the first time.

Was it the two-time premiers Adelaide? Or the might of Fremantle, who had an 11-game winning streak up until last round?

Melbourne has been a consistent performer over the last four-and-a-half seasons.

And you can never, ever write off Brisbane.

But one player – yes, player – has managed to record more wins than all 14 clubs, with North Melbourne winger Kaitlyn Ashmore the "winningest" one of all.

Ashmore is one of 12 players to have played 36 matches (the current games record) and has won 25, a winning rate of 69.4 per cent.

The 29-year-old played 16 games for 10 wins at Brisbane in 2017 and 2018, and 20 games at North Melbourne for 15 wins.

Adelaide is the most successful of the original eight clubs, with 24 wins, while North Melbourne drew level with the Western Bulldogs over the weekend (15 wins), despite having played two fewer seasons.

St Kilda has won the most games of the most recent intake of teams, with four victories.
