With the start of the season just around the corner and some fresh new faces on North's list, kangaroos.com.au is asking who you think will be the club's Most Valuable Player in 2012.
Of course there are the usual suspects and ultra-consistent performers in Brent Harvey and Drew Petrie, but Andrew Swallow may also loom large after proving he belongs in the 'elite' category of midfielders in the AFL.
Daniel Wells is coming off a career best season and offers precision skills and poise like no other while Todd Goldstein's brilliant ruck work could be considered vital to the team's chances of victory.
Down back Scott Thompson has been a critical cog in the Kangaroos' defensive machine but some thought must also be given to the likes of Leigh Adams, Jack Ziebell, Hamish McIntosh, Levi Greenwood, Aaron Edwards, Nathan Grima and Michael Firrito.
After his debut year, there may also be some love for Cam Pedersen who has shown his ability to play in several positions around the ground and Lindsay Thomas could be in the mix with reports of an impressive pre-season under his belt and past history of being able to turn a game on its head.
With so many options and a raft players on the brink of possible break-out years, the decision won't be easy to make.
