North Melbourne CEO, Ben Amarfio, says the club will welcome back its members with open arms, following news Victorian crowds will be allowed back in stadiums for the start of the season.
The Kangaroos take on the Power in Round 1, and Amarfio expects North members to snap up the tickets, having not been allowed access to games last season.

“As it stands, Marvel Stadium will be allowed to open with 50 per cent capacity which gives us a crowd of about 29,000,” he said.
“It really is a great announcement and I’m sure North people will embrace being able to see their beloved club and the players live, and in-person once again.
“We receive phone calls, emails and texts from members every day asking about crowds at games and we are delighted to be sharing this news with everyone today. We need a strong turnout for the game against the Power and know North fans will enjoy seeing our new-look side in action.”
Amarfio stressed that members would receive priority.
“To give yourself the best chance of being in the stands to cheer us on in Round 1 and beyond, make sure you have a current membership, because members will be offered first access to seats. We don’t anticipate any tickets being left or available for the general public due to high demand,” Amarfio said.
“Tickets will be distributed digitally via smart phones in line with best practice around Australia and the world, so our members will need to be aware of that and make the necessary adjustments to help us ensure we provide a safe environment for everyone.
“The club will assist all of our members and fans to ensure they can get in to games safely and with ease. All members can still receive a plastic membership card by contacting the club and one will be sent straight to you, but due to COVID restrictions, it will not provide you access into stadiums.
“Anyone with any issues or concerns should contact the club for more information.”
