For the second year in a row, Todd Goldstein has been ranked 'elite' by Champion Data.
Goldstein was one of just 53 AFL players considered among the top category by the league's statisticians, after a season in which he produced some of the best form of his career.
The big man averaged 15 disposals, 28 hit-outs and 5 clearances a game, backing up a 2019 campaign where he was just as impressive.
Now in his 15th season at North Melbourne, Goldstein puts his continued good form down to "a little bit of luck" with injuries, and his diligent preparation.
"I work pretty hard in the off-season, especially in the last few years making sure my fitness and my body is where it needs to be, and that generally holds me in good stead," he said in January.
Even at 32, Goldstein is still pushing to get better in 2021.
"Especially early it (2020) was one of my more consistent ones, but I think I dropped off a little bit, so that fire is still there to keep trying to get better," he added.
"The coaches I've had that conversation with so far, we all can see definite room for improvement; that's what's driving me and hopefully I can do better this year."
