Train
There are two train stations close to the MCG including Jolimont and Richmond.
To get to Richmond station from the city, take any train on the Lilydale, Belgrave, Alamein, Glen Waverley, Dandenong, Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston or Sandringham lines.
Tram
Three tram routes provide access to the MCG including the No.
No. 75 (City-Vermont South), No. 48 (Docklands/City-North Balwyn) and No. 70 (Docklands/City-Wattle Park).
Bus
Bus route 246 links La Trobe University with Elsternwick Station in a useful service for patrons from the northern and southern suburbs. The 246 stops in Punt Road, just a punt kick from the ground.
Walking
The MCG is well serviced by pedestrian bridges that provide easy access to the stadium from a number of directions. It is a light 20 minute walk from the city.
Car
MCG car parking is available at this game in Yarra Park. This land is controlled by Melbourne Cricket Club and managed on event days by Care Park. Parking costs $10.00 per car, gate open times below:
