The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have named two debutants for Sunday's clash against Geelong.

Forwards Isabella Eddey and Alice O'Loughlin, picks 13 and 22 at the NAB AFL Women's Draft, will line up in the season-opener at GMHBA Stadium.

The pair impressed during the practice match against Collingwood a fortnight ago, and will add plenty of zip and dash in the front half for North.

Emma Kearney leads an all-star midfield group, featuring the likes of Jas Garner, Jenna Bruton, Ash Riddell and Kaitlyn Ashmore, while Vivien Saad will take the ruck duties.

Daria Bannister will make a welcome return, having overcome shoulder and knee injuries over the past year.

Grace Campbell (leg), Jess Duffin (adductor) and Britt Gibson (hamstring) will miss round one, with the Roos hoping they'll be available for an Arden Street blockbuster next Sunday.
