North Melbourne has bolstered its defensive stocks with former Giant Aidan Corr moving to Arden Street as a restricted free agent.
The Kangaroos now have the versatile defender on a five year deal, after GWS elected not to match the offer.
Corr was selected with pick 14 in 2012 and has played 98 games over the past eight seasons for the Giants.
The 26-year old played every game up until Round 16 in 2020, before suffering a sprained ankle forcing him to miss the final two rounds of the season.
“We’re really excited to have Aidan at the club next season and beyond,” North GM football Brady Rawlings said.
“He’s a reliable and flexible player capable of playing on small and tall forwards, which will add great depth to our back line.
“Aidan is also highly skilled player and we see a lot of potential and growth in him. He’s eager to get stuck into it at Arden St and we can’t wait to introduce him formally to the players and wider club.”
