The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will enter the 2020 NAB AFLW Draft with five selections, with one of those to be used to confirm their first ever father-daughter pick, Amy Smith.
The Kangaroos confirmed on Tuesday the signing of Smith, daughter of former North player Shaun.
North will carry picks 13, 22, 43, 48 and 55, and will once again have exclusive access to Tasmanian talent.
It’s set to be one of the most competitive drafts yet, with only 58 selections and three of those already committed to father-daughter selections.
The 2020 NAB AFL Women’s Draft will be live streamed on womens.afl, the AFLW App and the AFLW Facebook account from 7pm AEDT on Tuesday, October 6.
