Captain Andrew Swallow is being confronted by a new contender in the race for North’s top vote-winner, with Jack Ziebell closing the gap.
The number seven had 25 disposals, cleared the ball from the centre on four occasions and kicked two goals, polling six votes.
Not to be outdone, Brent Harvey also booted two goals to along with his 27 possessions. It was enough to earn him six votes and move to fifth on the Kangaroos’ leaderboard.
Leigh Adams returned to his best form in the win, and his 29-disposals and 5 tackles saw him earn the three votes, while Scott Thompson (three votes) continued a stellar season, completely shutting out Coleman Medalist Jack Riewoldt.
Taylor Hine’s stopping role on Brett Deledio was also recognised, with the former Sun rounding out a clean sweep for North Melbourne.
