Greater Western Sydney has added the class of Brett Deledio after securing a trade with Richmond in the closing minutes of the NAB AFL Trade Period.

Deledio, who officially requested a desire to join the Giants on Wednesday afternoon, was traded for a 2017 first-round pick (originally from Geelong) and a 2017 third-round pick.
