Jared Polec’s impressive performance against Carlton didn’t go unnoticed by the coaches, with the classy on-baller polling four votes.
Polec had a game-high 25 disposals, and a team-high 5 inside 50s in the hard-fought defeat, also laying 6 tackles on the day.
The North number 13 moved to second in the club’s AFLCA voting, only behind Todd Goldstein.
Luke McDonald was also a strong performer on the day, and across the past month, with a return to defence on the weekend netting 18 disposals, and 456 metres gained.
He received his first vote of the season.
