Drew Petrie is one of the best when it comes to taking a spectacular grab. In arguably his best ever season, the vice-captain has been nominated a remarkable six times for the annual Mark of the Year award - his latest attempt coming on Sunday evening against the Tigers.

Late in the fourth term, Petrie leapt onto Alex Rance’s shoulders on the edge of the goal square and pulled down a ripping mark with Angus Graham trying to spoil him from behind. He went back and slotted the match-sealing goal and had North supporters on their feet.

The Roos went on to win by 13-points and Petrie finished the 2011 season on the highest note.
