kangaroos.com.au says
As the third-oldest player on the list, Firrito went from strength to strength in his 10th season.
He started out the year on fire, blanketing Michael Hurley in Round 1 before picking up four Brownlow votes in the next fortnight. Playing both tall and small, he provided drive while shutting down key opposition players almost every week.
Firrito played every game for the season and closed in on being the 25th North player to reach 200 games. In October he re-signed for 2013, putting the milestone well within reach. He'll continue to be a vital piece of the North back six.
