Carlton is set to welcome back Marc Murphy with the midfielder named in the 22 for Friday night's clash against North Melbourne.
Murphy injured his shoulder in Round 8 and despite rating himself only an '80-85 per cent chance' to play on Wednesday, presents another challenge in the midfield battle with his inclusion.
Also returning for the Blues is key-position player Lachlan Henderson. The 22-year old was praised for his efforts on Drew Petrie when the teams last met, and looks a candidate to take on the role again.
“I have done plenty of work over the last couple of weeks and was confident I would be right to play and training this week confirmed I was ready for action,” Henderson said.
The pair is into the side at the expense of Kade Simpson and Shaun Hampson who will both miss through injury.
