Scott McMahon will go into his 100th game with the same 21 team-mates which defeated the Tigers last weekend.

The defender, nicknamed ‘Loose’, was recently called ‘underrated’ and ‘deserving of more accolades’ by some media experts, but won’t be able to escape the spotlight this Saturday as he notches up the milestone.

The only alterations to the North squad for the match against the third last placed Melbourne are on the emergency list with Cam Richardson, Aaron Mullett and Cruize Garlett named.

McMahon has had an eventful year in 2012 and was forced out of the side after Round 4 when he developed a rare and peculiar illness which saw him hospitalized twice.

However since returning to the side in round 12, the Kangaroos have had a tremendous amount of success winning 5 of their 6 matches.

McMahon is a key component of North’s backline along with Nathan Grima, Scott Thompson, Michael Firrito and young gun Shaun Atley and was picked up by North in the 2004 Rookie Draft.
