Levi Greenwood was the most impressive Kangaroo-listed player on an otherwise disappointing day in the VFL.

With North Melbourne coach Brad Scott watching on, Greenwood picked up 19 disposals for Werribee against the Northern Blues at Princes Park in Carlton.

A quarter-long lapse in concentration cost the Tigers the match. Going into the final term in the lead, they succumbed to the Blues' increased intensity and went down by 24-points.

The Northern Blues romped home kicking 7 unanswered goals and had around 50 more possessions in the fourth quarter alone.

Will Sierakowski and Ben Speight both had 18 possessions while Ben Warren, Brad Mangan and Cam Pedersen all finished with 13.

Majak Daw played his usual forward/ruck role and gathered 12 touches with Ayden Kennedy and Malcolm Lynch amassing 11 apiece.

Medium-sized forward Ben McKinley collected 10 disposals but no one had a great influence on the game from a North Melbourne point of view.

As for the goal kickers, Daw, Pedersen and Warren all booted two while McKinley slotted one.

Northern Blues 2.2 5.2 9.3 16.7 (103)
Werribee Tigers 5.3 8.9 11.11 11.13 (79)
