Werribee and North Ballarat will benefit from North Melbourne’s depth again this week, with 23 Kangaroos set to line up in the VFL.

Scott McMahon's illness is the only thing restricting the club's entire squad of 46 taking to the field this week, a luxury testament to the work of the club’s medical and conditioning staff.

Todd Goldstein’s
inclusion into the Roosters’ line-up will provide a big chop-out for youngster Ben Mabon who’s been shouldering the bulk of the ruck load in recent weeks.

Mabon has been named at full-forward for the clash against the fourth-placed Scorpions, with the returning Matt Campbell sure to be at his feet despite being named at the unorthodox position of centre-half forward.

Aaron Black
will be among those looking to get his name on the goal-kickers list having been kept goalless last week.

Cruize Garlett has been on the cusp of selection for a number of weeks and another good game on Sunday could see him take the next step up in Round 6.

Cameron Delaney, Gavin Urquhart, Cameron Richardson and Max Warren are the other Kangaroos’ in action.

Earlier in the day, draftee Tom Curran will have his first chance to impress, albeit in the VFL reserves, as he plays his first game for the year.

The Tigers sit in ninth position on two wins and two losses and will be without key-forward Robbie Tarrant who’s been called up to the seniors, but it certainly won’t leave the club short in attack against Williamstown.

Majak Daw, Cameron Pedersen, Ben Warren and Ben McKinley have all been named in the front six, while Lachlan Hansen is more than capable of pushing up as another option.

Hansen will start down back alongside Nathan Grima and Brad Mangan, with the North trio sure to have a big job on their hands against Bulldogs’ listed players Zeph Skinner and Tom Hill.

Ben Speight, Malcolm Lynch and Sam Gibson will lead Werribee’s midfield brigade into battle against the second-placed Seagulls.

In the curtain-raiser, Ayden Kennedy will look to stake his claim for a recall to the Tigers’ seniors.
