Petrie, Adams chances to play
North says Drew Petrie and Leigh Adams could be fit to face Richmond, but the Roos stay silent on the Chris Judd incident
INJURED North Melbourne players Drew Petrie and Leigh Adams remain chances to play against Richmond this Sunday, North Melbourne football chief Donald McDonald says.
Petrie and Adams were injured in North's 53-point win over Carlton last Friday night. Petrie was subbed out of the game at three-quarter time with groin soreness, while Adams injured his shoulder, most notably in a controversial second-quarter incident in which Carlton captain Chris Judd was reported for wrenching Adams' arm back while he lay on the ground with Andrew Carrazzo on top of him.
McDonald said the Roos were optimistic Petrie would be fit to play against the Tigers, with scans revealing no significant injury to his groin.

He said Adams had carried a shoulder injury into last Friday night's game that had been aggravated by the Judd incident and a bump later in the game.
North will be required to file a medical report for the Match Review Panel to consider when it assesses the charge against Judd, but McDonald refused to comment on what that report would reveal about Judd's role in Adams' injury.
However, AFL.com.au understands North's report will reveal Adams' shoulder was dislocated in the incident.
McDonald refused to discuss whether Judd's conduct was within the spirit of the game.
The Match Review Panel is expected to release its findings on the Judd incident and other round 16 matters on Monday afternoon.
