Plays of the Week - Round 20
With only two on the bench after quarter-time and just one for the last 15 minutes, North Melbourne was up against it.
However a 24-point win was North's best of the season and it meant there were plenty of highlights to choose from for this edition of Plays of the Week.
kangaroos.com.au has picked out the best five - now it’s over to you to separate the best from the rest.

1. Hansen goal on the run
Drew Petrie gathers possession on the half-back line and handballs to Leigh Adams. Another quick handball releases Daniel Wells and all of a sudden, Hansen is the first to enter the forward 50.
A centimetre-perfect kick by Wells allows Hansen to mark, turn and run towards goal. From 40 metres out he makes no mistake and gets North Melbourne on the board.
2. Gibson snap goal
Near the mid-point of the second quarter, Essendon is pushing hard and attempting to take the lead. Sam Wright wins the centre clearance and bombs it long into North's forward 50.
The ball hits the ground before Hansen collects and handballs to a running Sam Gibson. Off just a couple of steps, Gibson bends the ball around his body to give North a 10-point lead.
3. Harvey's third quarter
Entering the second half with a two-point deficit and one short on the bench, it appeared it was going to take a herculean effort for North to prevail. Enter Brent Harvey.
The former captain provided a burst which left Essendon shellshocked. In less than two minutes of game-time, Harvey kicked three brilliant goals to give North a 14-point break.
4. Wright goal
Early in the last quarter, North Melbourne's lead is just three with the ball in its forward 50. Sam Gibson comes up with the Sherrin from a boundary throw-in and handballs to Andrew Swallow.
Sam Wright receives the ball 45 metres out. He kicks for goal off two steps and his opposite foot and it sails through the middle keeping Essendon at bay.
5. Hansen last quarter goal
Halfway through the last quarter the margin is just three-points after Wright's goal is answered by Michael Hurley.
After Dyson Heppell's clearing kick results in North possession due to a Hansen spoil, Harvey receives and passes to Matt Campbell. All the while, Hansen is still running around the outer boundary line.
Campbell sees Hansen and delivers a handball that hits Hansen in stride. He plays on, runs inside 50 and delivers the goal that ultimately breaks Essendon’s backbone.
