It’d be hard to find a player that’s copped more knocks, bruises and scratches to more parts of his body than Leigh Adams this season and possibly throughout a career.

But like he’s done so many times before, the fearless midfielder will be doing his all to take the field on Saturday, despite another injury blow against the Demons.

“We’ve got really good medical staff down here, and if they say I’m right to go, I’m right to go. I’m looking forward to hopefully getting up this week for the Doggies.”

The 24-year old spoke exclusively with kangaroos.com.au on Monday, discussing his battle with shoulder injuries and the task of getting up to play each week.

“I’m normally pretty sore and sorry Monday, Tuesday point-of-view, but by the end of the week it’s (the shoulders) starting to feel good,” he said.

“…then I normally come out with another knock and we start the process again.”
