Majak Daw views his current suspension from North Melbourne as an chance for self-improvement.

Speaking for the first time since he was indefinitely suspended from North last month, Daw said he was content he had handled himself "very well" in the subsequent weeks.

"We all go through adversity, it's just how you respond to what you face," Daw said after the announcement of the AFL-Australia Post multicultural ambassadors on Tuesday.

"I see this as an opportunity to come back stronger than ever."

Daw declined to answer subsequent questions about his suspension, saying he had attended AFL House in his capacity as one of the 10 playing multicultural ambassadors.

Daw was suspended by North after lying to coach Brad Scott about breaching the club's rehabilitation protocols. He has been permitted to continue his rehabilitation from a knee injury at Aegis Park but, otherwise, must mount a case for a return to the club with North's VFL affiliate Werribee.
