Racing past 25,000
North Melbourne has smashed its way through another membership milestone with more than a thousand memberships sold in the past week.
A bumper crowd at Eureka Stadium on Sunday could boost that number even further when the side plays the Western Bulldogs.
“There has been no sign of our membership push dropping off whatsoever,” CEO Eugene Arocca told kangaroos.com.au.
“We started out extremely strong late last year and have continued onward and upward ever since.”
North personalities from James Brayshaw to Jack Ziebell hit the media through radio, newspapers and television with a special ‘membership day’ on 1116SEN yielding fantastic results.
“Our supporters can sense this club is going places and we are tracking toward a record number of members which is fantastic,” Arocca added.
The club’s official tally is still some 4,000 members ahead of the same time last year.
“Growth in the list, a favourable draw and pure excitement about what we’ve achieved off the field have all promoted unprecedented numbers in membership.”
A North Melbourne membership is the best way to ensure access to home and away games throughout the year. Included is the Member’s Essential Pack, consisting of the True North magazine, access to the North Network program, 10% discount at the Roo Shop and more exclusive benefits.
