North Melbourne VFL affiliate the Werribee Tigers have been boosted by the signing of three former AFL players.
Former Kangaroo Ben Ross who finished third in the Tigers' best and fairest in 2011 joins Nathan Ablett and Tim Ruffles as the club's new additions.

Ross played 14 AFL games after debuting in 2008 before he was delisted at the end of last season. The midfielder was a strong performer in Werribee's finals campaign.

Ablett was a member of Geelong's 2007 premiership team and played 34 games at the Cats and Suns, while Ruffles registered five AFL matches at Fremantle.
