The rebel VFLW State Team has been named, with six North Melbourne players set to feature against the SANFL in the 2025 AAMI State Game.
Premiership players Alana Barba, Nyakoat Dojiok and Maddie Di Cosmo join coach Brett Gourley as representatives, as well as new recruits Gen Lawson-Tavan, Stella Reid and Tessa Boyd.
The inaugural VFLW State Team will represent the Big V on Friday, April 11 when they take on the SANFL Women's State Team at Alberton Oval from 6:30pm ACST.
It will be the first time since the VFLW was established in 2017 that a women's representative team will take the field.
