North Melbourne’s membership figures are already growing steadily with 13,500 people already renewed, but with Christmas just around the corner the club is aiming for a new record of 20,000 members before December 25th.

With just four weeks to go, the Kangaroos membership team believe they have the perfect gift for everyone with a variety of different packages to suit everybody, from Victorian to interstate supporters, match day and even armchair footy fans.

“We know thousands of loyal North Melbourne people buy their memberships in time for Christmas but we urge everyone to get in before December 12th to ensure delivery time so you can have it under the tree before the big day,” Dino Imbriano GM Consumer Business told kangaroos.com.au.

“There is always a high volume of memberships sold during December which is absolutely fantastic and we are aiming for 20,000 members by Christmas this year which is a huge number we haven’t reached before. After a really positive 2012 season, we have no doubt that this can be achieved because our supporters want to be a part of such an exciting time for our football club.”

In addition to the Christmas rush there is also another important reason to renew your membership in the coming weeks if you’re a reserved seat holder. Cut off dates to secure your reserve seat at Blundstone Arena and Etihad Stadium are soon approaching.

After the success of the club’s two home games in Tasmanian, membership figures in the southern state are already growing at a rapid pace with close to 1,500 members already renewed. To avoid missing out on the round three and round six matches in 2013 it is important to reserve your seat before Friday 7th of December.

“Our round three match against the reining premiers Sydney at Blundstone Arena is sure to draw a large crowd and the best way to avoid missing out on tickets is to secure your own seat. Last year’s two home games in Hobart were a huge success and we know 2013 will be bigger and better,” Imbriano said.

For Victorian reserved seat holders, the date to retain your existing spot at Etihad Stadium is Tuesday 18th of December.

Target 10,000, a membership initiative which aims to sign up the ‘lost generation’ of North Melbourne fans is gaining momentum and Imbriano is encouraging members to get involved so they have the chance to win great prizes.

“We have $10,000 to give away and all you have to do is refer your friends and get them to sign up, it’s as simple as that. There are also monthly prizes on offer such as a table for 10 in the Premiership Room at our home games, changeroom passes and Roo Shop vouchers.

“Another exclusive offer in the Target 10,000 program is a one off BBQ with the 2013 leadership group, every member who signs up more supporters than Scott Thompson will be eligible to attend the guided tour and intimate BBQ at Aegis Park.”
