It was initially aimed at being a one-off event, but a large crowd at Arden Street on Monday night could prompt Brad Scott to schedule more twilight training sessions in the near future.

North Melbourne emerged from its new change rooms with a crowd of more than 500 waiting, and being the mastermind behind the later training session the new coach was delighted to see so much royal blue and white in the stands.

"It's terrific, we're harking back to the past a little bit with a 5pm session, but it's a really good training timeslot for supporters to get down after school and after work and have a look." Scott told kangaroos.com.au

The Kangaroos' new $15M building provided the perfect backdrop for the North Melbourne faithful, and despite the players' training for over two hours there was still a large contingent lining the oval when the team completed the warm-down.

"It's a unique opportunity with the facility just being built, and we've still got the old Arden Street building here as well," said Scott

"The supporters don't get a chance to come down and watch us train too often and we'll get some feedback from the players, but conceptually it's a good idea."

Many took the chance to grab a photo with their heroes and secure their autograph, while others purchased an early Christmas gift in the new Roo Shop.

Sudanese born Majak Daw was a surprise addition to the Roos squad, the 18 year-old looking to impress and claim a rookie spot in next week's draft.
