After watching the Roos thrash the Tigers and taking recent history into account, Michael Voss is acutely aware of what's coming his team's way on Saturday night at the Gabba.

"We always expect the opposition's very best, and this is a side that has put us under a lot of pressure through the last couple of games we've played against them," he told the media on Monday.

"We have absolutely no questions over where they sit and what they can do because we've seen the full force of it earlier this year."

North Melbourne defeated the Lions by 63-points in Round 4 at Etihad Stadium.  The game highlighted by the debut of Majak Daw.

"Our eyes are open on what they potentially can do."

The Lions were given a boost with key players Jonathan Brown and Dayne Zorko escaping suspension after being cited by the Match Review Panel.

Brown was looked at for making contact with David Swallow in the win over the Gold Coast Suns but his actions were deemed legitimate.

The MRP said Brown attempted to tackle and not strike the young midfielder.

Emerging midfielder Zorko was charged for striking Tom Murphy but due to his good record, his one-match sanction was reduced to a reprimand.
