It is possible the Sydney Swans could be offloading more players than originally thought, with a new trade whisper emerging that the club is attempting to reposition itself in this year's draft and land a pick inside the top five.
The word is that the Swans are considering doing a deal with a Melbourne-based club that has a high draft pick, possibly St Kilda or Melbourne - clubs with links to the Swans.

Shuey going nowhere
Luke Shuey's manager has ruled out his star client returning to his native Victoria.
Reports on the weekend said several clubs were keen on securing the West Coast midfielder, with both Melbourne and Collingwood linked with him and the 23-year-old said to be open to the idea.
However Shuey's manager Nick Gieschen dismissed the idea on SEN on Monday morning.
"I was a bit surprised hearing that … He's actually got two years to go on his current contract with the Eagles," Gieschen said.
"I can understand his name being thrown up – obviously he's a Melbourne boy and a good young player – but I can tell you he's extremely happy at the Eagles. They've looked after him really well over the last few years and he's really keen to stay and see how they go under 'Simmo' (new coach Adam Simpson).
"He's really settled over in Perth. He bought a house a little while ago, his mum's just moved over there, and I know the club sees him as a future leader."
Giant Giles could be Adelaide-bound
After signing Sydney Swans premiership ruckman Shane Mumford, Greater Western Sydney could be open to trading big man Jonathan Giles to Adelaide.
The Australian reports the South Australian could find a new home with the Crows, who tried to secure his services last year.
'Pods' ideal for Dockers
Fremantle should target delisted Geelong veteran James Podsiadly, according to club great Peter Bell and former Western Bulldogs and Richmond coach Terry Wallace.
As reported by News Limited, the pair believe the Dockers need to find an alternative key forward target for the next two seasons to take the pressure off Matthew Pavlich and Chris Mayne and capitalise on the powers of veterans Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands and Luke McPharlin.
Higher price for Longer
The Brisbane Lions could demand Hawthorn's first-round draft pick – at this stage, No. 19 – in exchange for young ruckman Billy Longer.
The Australian reports that the Hawks had suggested midfielder Shane Savage could be part of a deal, but Lions list manager Rob Kerr was adamant about securing a first-round pick "at the very least".

Promising Giants midfielder Taylor Adams could decide today his preferred destination, with Collingwood and Geelong heading the charge.
