The plaudits for Scott Thompson's outing against Brisbane keep rolling with the defender receiving a perfect 10 from Brad Scott and Michael Voss.

It is the second successive game Thompson has polled votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year and propels him to a tie with Andrew Swallow on the North Melbourne leaderboard.

The voting table was exclusively North as seven players caught the eye of the coaches.

Jack Ziebell collected seven votes for his 22 disposals, 11 of which were contested. While he didn't fill up the stat sheet, the vice-captain played a big role in breaking the game open in the third quarter.

Lindsay Thomas continued his excellent start to the year. Four goals gave him four votes and after four rounds he is the equal leader of the Coleman Medal on 16.

Aaron Mullett's excellent early season form continued with another 22 disposals, which was enough to gain him three votes. 19 of his disposals were uncontested as North looked to the Rising Star nominee to kick-start play from the defensive half.

Flying under the radar, Jamie Macmillan polled his first three votes of the season. The number 34 had a solid game against Sydney and backed it up with 23 disposals against Brisbane.

Daniel Wells and Sam Gibson earned two and one vote respectively for their efforts.
