Essendon will be without two of its most important players against North Melbourne with Patrick Ryder and Dustin Fletcher banned by the AFL’s Match Review Panel.
Ryder was handed a one-match sanction for rough conduct against the Eagles’ Jamie Cripps during the second quarter of Sunday’s match.
Meanwhile, Fletcher was on the end of a two-match ban for rough conduct on Cripps.
