How Mullett finished the season
Mullett’s breakout year didn’t slow down as 2013 neared its conclusion. The left-footer finished in the top five at the club in total disposals and finished fourth in the Rising Star.
Playing off half-back and on the wing, his 14 goals and just one behind for the season reflected his reliability in front of the big sticks. What made the his accuracy even more impressive was 11 of the goals came from at least 40 metres out.
Mullett was able to balance his offensive flair with the defensive responsibilities. According to Champion Data, he conceded less than a goal a game and just 20 for the year.
