Three of North Melbourne's finest forwards from the club's dominant period in the 90's have added a further accolade to their already fine careers.

Wayne Carey, John Longmire and Brett Allison were named in the ACT and Southern NSW Team of the Century on Thursday.

Three-time Brownlow Medalist Hayden Bunton Snr. was listed as captain of the team, while Carey was handed the vice-captaincy.

With 727 goals in a 272-game career, Carey is considered one of the game's greatest players. Longmire, who played in the 1999 premiership kicked 511 goals throughout a distinguished career, before coaching Sydney to a premiership in 2012.

Allison, often the man at the feet of the key-forwards in the late 80's and 90's was named on the interchange. He kicked 285 goals in 228 games for the club.
