North Melbourne’s Taylor Hine will be available for selection in Round 1 after his match-day report was dropped.

Hine was cited by umpire Robert Findlay for forceful contact from front-on against Hawthorn’s Jack Gunston, but given the all-clear by the AFL’s Match Review Panel on Monday.

The 21-year old made an impressive debut in the royal blue and white during Saturday’s practice match in Craigieburn, playing mainly in defence.

Scott McMahon will miss the opening round against Collingwood, while Brent Harvey is out for the first six matches of the home and away season, both due to suspension.
