Thompson was listed in the back-pocket after some outstanding defensive performances coming up against the league’s best forwards.
The number 16 has also stepped up the attacking side of his game, averaging around 19 possessions a game.
At the other end of the field, Coleman Medal leader Thomas is in the forward pocket.
With 35 goals in 11 games, the small-forward has been one of the Kangaroos’ most consistent players to the halfway point of the season.
