Ryan Bastinac has emerged as a potential bargain selection for Dream Team managers after a stellar performance against Geelong.

The North youngster amassed a massive 136-points, the fifth-highest score of the round after racking up 29 touches, 9 marks and 7 tackles on Sunday.

With a price tag of $405,800, Bastinac needs just 26-points against the Swans for his value to rise.

The league’s number one player last week, Andrew Swallow ($528,800) has slipped behind Essendon’s Brent Stanton following Round 2, but given he’s $20,000 cheaper is sure to be on the radar for coaches Australia-wide.

Swallow backed up his 141 in the opening round with 115-points against Geelong in a 29 disposal, 5 tackle haul.

Aaron Mullett’s ($252,700) price is set to sky-rocket after Round 3, and it hasn’t taken selectors long to realise his potential. Over 1,000 coaches traded for the young defender in the past week, and a 101-point effort is sure to see that number increase further.

Many would have been keeping an eye on Scott McMahon’s ($332,300) progress returning from suspension, and the number 42 rewarded the 593 managers who had faith by netting 89-points.

Remarkably, McMahon is the player selected the third-least among the entire Roos’ list, but a similar output against the Swans could make him a wildcard in 2013.

Sam Gibson ($468,400) turned the tide after a quiet start to the year, tallying 106-points, while Shaun Atley ($311,200) was a popular pick for Dream Teamers in the pre-season and made a welcome return to form.

Todd Goldstein is keeping Majak Daw and Daniel Currie out of the side at the moment, but it hasn’t quelled their popularity. Daw has been picked up by over 70,000 people despite still awaiting his debut, while Currie has been selected by over 60,000.
