Petrie ($403,200) hit the stat sheet in a variety of areas for his 134 points, collecting 20 disposals, 10 marks, 5 tackles and kicking 3 goals for his second-highest score of the year.
With a fortnight to go in the home and away season, Petrie is up to second for most points by North Melbourne players, just 69 behind Todd Goldstein ($395,200).
Levi Greenwood ($354,600) was just one possession off equalling his career-high, amassing 38 on the way to a score of 109.
In three of Greenwood’s five games this year he has collected more than 20 disposals, scoring more than 90 on each occasion.
Sam Wright ($272,900) scored a season-high 99. In the second meeting between the sides in 2012, Wright polled three Brownlow votes and continued his good form against the Bombers.
While he didn’t reprise his tagging role on Brendon Goddard from when he was a Saint, Wright had 25 possessions and 9 marks of his own to go with a long goal from outside 50.
Lachlan Hansen ($383,500) bounced back from an uncharacteristically quiet game against Adelaide to score 91 against Essendon.
Allowed to wander around in defence without an opponent for much of the evening, Hansen collected 24 disposals and 9 marks. Excluding the Brisbane match in Round 16 where he was concussed in the early stages, Hansen has had at least 15 disposals in eight consecutive matches.
