North Melbourne is already on track to break its membership record following a busy off season and high level of expectation heading into the 2014 season.

CEO Carl Dilena has been impressed with the amount of support flooding in with the club already at 17,200 members with the season still four months away.

"It has been a very exciting off season for us with Nick Dal Santo and Robbie Nahas coming on board along with our draftees and several key off-field appointments including Geoff Walsh, Leigh Tudor, Gavin Brown and Ben Dyer," Dilena told NMFC.com.au.

"Anticipation is certainly building and our supporters want to be a part of what is happening at Arden Street. The best way for everyone to get behind us is to become a member."

Since the Roos launched their latest membership campaign, "We Will Rise Together" there has been an unprecedented show of support.

"We are already about 3,600 members ahead of the same time last year which is fantastic and we want this momentum to continue. It is important memberships are affordable and packages start from as little as nine dollars a month," Dilena explained.

"We also understand we have hundreds of members who live interstate or in rural areas and might not be able to attend as many games as they would like throughout the season. There are a variety of choices so no one needs to miss out."

With Christmas just around the corner, there is even more incentive to grab a membership.

If the club hits 20,000 members before Christmas, the Roo Shop will hold a special 20 hour, 20% off sale on all merchandise and those new to the Troo Roo for Life payment plan will get a free Social Club upgrade.

While North's players endure the gruelling tests of their pre-season high-altitude camp in Utah, it's time for supporters to also 'Rise Together' in preparation for 2014.

"Our members are vital to our club and I have no doubt every North fan will want to be involved in our team success in the near future. We're aiming for 40,000 members for the first time next year and I don't see any reason why we can't achieve that milestone," Dilena added.
