Cunnington ($421,600) collected 34 disposals, 6 marks, 7 tackles and capped it off with two goals in just 79 per cent game time. It was the number 10’s fifth score of more than 100 this season and bumps his season average up to 84 per game, sixth among Roos who have played five or more games in 2013.
As can be expected when a team has 439 disposals, there were several Kangaroos to register a century. Six players reached the mark.
Todd Goldstein ($407,300) continued his good recent form against the Demons with a score of 137. In Goldstein’s last three games against Melbourne he has averaged an astonishing 126 points.
Brent Harvey ($437,100) was another to star, scoring 125. Over the last five games, Harvey’s lowest score is 80, as he’s worked his way around the inevitable opposition tags.
Harvey’s last two games against Geelong have reaped scores of 111 and 101, indicating he is on track to post yet another solid score.
Last week it was pointed out that Lachlan Hansen ($324,800) had posted four consecutive scores of more than 90, barring the Brisbane game in which he left the field concussed. Hansen made it five on the weekend with 26 possessions and 10 marks on his way to 103 points.
The number six is still only owned by 1,567 coaches, just 0.66 percent of the Dream Team world. Considering his output far exceeds the norm he would be a valuable point of difference in a team heading towards a league finals series.
