How Gibson finished the season
In his second year on the list, Gibson continued his development into one of the most reliable players at Aegis Park.
One of the hardest runners at North Melbourne, his role as a link man on the wing provided a crucial outlet for defenders looking for options up the ground.
Gibson’s role in losses is indicative of his consistency – five of his top seven disposal counts for 2013 came in defeats. The same effort will be there from the number 43 every week regardless of the game situation.
So far in his 35-game career, he has never had a match of less than 10 disposals when part of the starting 21.

August 11: Gibson the running man
"As others get tired, Gibbo's still breaking into space. He's a massive help to the backline, always giving them an option or an easy release." – Darren Crocker
August 28: Gibson North’s Energizer
“It gets me games. If I’m not working hard, I’m not running and I can’t play the role they (the coaches) want me to play.”
