After two wins in a row, the Roos will be full of confidence going into their clash against the Bulldogs.

Brad Scott will be pleased with the performance of the players in two hard-fought victories, but there will be at least one forced change, with Jarrad Waite ruled out due to injury.

Forwards

Majak Daw stood up at the perfect time for Werribee, pressing his claim for a recall. The big man booted four goals and was a towering presence throughout Sunday’s match.

Robin Nahas was a constant presence with his forward pressure and hard running.

Of the younger brigade, Corey Wagner has already had a taste of senior football. Ben McKay and Sam Durdin both had strong games in the VFL, but will need to get some more game time under their belts before being considered.

Midfielders

Declan Mountford has been in fine form for Werribee, not necessarily racking up high numbers, but playing key roles on the opposition’s best players.

Defenders

Ed Vickers-Willis continues to improve with every game and has been an emergency for the AFL side on several occasions.

Lachlan Hansen is proven at AFL level, but might find it tough to break in given the form of his fellow defenders, while Joel Tippett has been reliable as any player in the Tigers’ defence.
