The North Melbourne Football Club has broken through the 30,000 membership mark two weeks out from its season opening match against Essendon.

The Roos’ current tally is more than 5,000 ahead of the same time last year and the club is well on target to reach its aim of 40,000 members this season under the banner, β€œWe will rise together”.

β€œThere’s still a tremendous amount of expectation regarding our chances this year and beyond, and I think this fantastic early membership result is testament to the hard work the players, coaches and staff have put in on and off the field,” Club CEO Carl Dilena said.

β€œHowever, we know there’s still a lot of work to do and the reality is, we are still to justify the hype that’s been around this year and put the results on the board.

β€œWe are though, confident of doing exactly that and having our supporters with us every step of the way in what’s shaping as an exciting time for us all.”
