Seven years in the making, Daniel Currie will finally get his chance to debut against the Bulldogs.

The ruckman is a late inclusion in North Melbourne's side, replacing Sam Wright.

Currie's inclusion comes on the back of a shoulder injury to Todd Goldstein suffered against the Bombers, with the 24-year-old set to provide a chop-out to his more experienced team-mate.

Considered by many as one of the best rucks not playing regular senior football, Currie was originally drafted by Sydney back in 2006.
