School's out
“I still have to pinch myself sometimes and realise that I’m here. It’s been a great year."
The 18-year-old took the football world by storm with his impact late in the season for North, despite his status as the youngest player in the AFL.
"I still have to pinch myself sometimes and realise that I’m here. It’s been a great year, I didn’t expect it to go the way it did this year," he told NMFC.com.au from Utah.

Rarely would a man with just six games under his belt ignite such excitement among North fans, but the lightly-framed Turner quickly earnt respect for his fearless approach.
Nevertheless, he admits he could be tested during the club’s high altitude camp over the next fortnight.
The players arrived in Deer Valley on Monday (Utah time), with a day’s travel and freezing temperatures the first of many challenges.
"I’m not really used to the cold. I’ve come from Summer days to this weather.
"It just sort of hits you in the face. It was nice in LA (Los Angeles) - it was about 25 degrees.
"Now coming here it’s completely different. We are nearly in the minuses now in the middle of the day, so it’s not going to get much warmer."
After a group dinner at the resort, the players will rest up before training begins on Tuesday (Melbourne time).
"I don’t think anyone knows what to expect this year. It’s sort of changed up a little bit, but I’ve heard from previous years it’s going to a pretty solid camp, and they (the fitness staff) are going to push us a fair bit which is good," Turner added.
Eager to continue his remarkable rise to prominence, the number 40 will be pushing himself to the limit.
"I can’t wait to get started. Once we get into it it’ll be a lot better, to get a long more time to bond with the boys."
NMFC.com.au will be there every step of the way over the next two weeks in Utah. Stay tuned for further updates.
