Daniel Wells ($388,000) was everywhere at AAMI Stadium on Sunday and it was reflected in his Dream Team score of 107.
Wells led all North Melbourne players with 30 disposals and also kicked two goals in just 79 per cent of game-time. It’s his third consecutive score of 90 or more as he steps up in the absence of Andrew Swallow.
Sam Gibson ($356,600) continued his possession gathering ways with another 29 on his way to a score of 100. The midfielder has only had one single figure haul of disposals so far in 2013 and leads the club in the category.
Despite a score of ‘just’ 79, Jack Ziebell ($427,200) was inspirational in the third quarter, helping to will his side back into the game, despite spending time off the ground injured.
Ziebell’s nine tackles, a game-high across all players, was instrumental in turning the flow of the match in the middle of the ground.
Lachlan Hansen ($378,300) had an uncharacteristically quiet game against the Crows, scoring 54 points. Excluding the game against Brisbane where he was concussed in the opening minutes, it was Hansen’s lowest score since Round 11.
Alongside Wells and Gibson, Ben Cunnington ($433,200) rounded out the top three scorers. The number 10 notched a tally of 86 to move to his highest price tag of 2013.
