North Melbourne fans can settle into a day of football at Avalon Airport Oval on Sunday, with Melbourne University (MUWFC) taking part in a curtain raiser before the VFL match against Collingwood.
MUWFC will be looking to secure its fourth win, after holding on for a thrilling three-point win over the Southern Saints on the weekend.
A host of North’s AFLW talent are expected to be in action including Emma Kearney, Kaitlyn Ashmore, Emma Humphries, Katherine Gillespie-Jones, Ash Riddell and Sophie Abbatangelo.
Vic Metro Under 18 National Champs MVP, Maddy Prespakis, will have the opportunity to play alongside Tasmanian talent, Loveth Ochayi, who will be playing as the 23rd player.
Meanwhile, the VFL side will look to string two in a row after overcoming Frankston by 58-points on the weekend.
With a finals berth within reach, the job will rely heavily on the likes of Ben McKay, Will Walker and Braydon Preuss, supported by VFL-listed Chris Jansen, Lachlan Mirams and Nash Holmes.
