North Melbourne players will continue to be nutritionally fuelled with PFD extending its partnership with the club for an additional five years.
PFD, the largest food distribution business in Australia, will continue to supply food and ingredients to the recently re-developed Arden St facility, which now houses four teams – AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW.
North high performance manager Jona Segal said having access to nutritional ingredients means our players will always be well prepared to hit the track.
“We all know how important balanced diets are, particularly in an elite environment so it’s really important we have access to fresh food ingredients and PFD brings that right to our doorstep every day without fail,” he said.
“To perform at your peak you need to be fuelling your body with the right foods at the right time.
“The club is committed to providing players with access to the most nutritionally dense foods, with meals prepared for the athletes on site and we wouldn’t be able to do this as efficiently without PFD’s trusted delivery service and access to the best quality products.”
PFD group sales and marketing manager David Wright said PFD is proud to be continuing the fruitful partnership with North.
“PFD has had a long affiliation with North and we are very excited to continue this until at least the end of 2023,” Wright said.
“To be 100% Australian owned is something we are extremely proud of and to be partnering with our national sport reaffirms our love for the game and the people within it.”
PFD has 72 distributions centres throughout Australia with more than 780 trucks delivering to in excess of 54,000 customers.
PFD delivers to cafes, hotels, restaurants, pubs, aged care facilities, hospitals, petrol and convenience stories.
